Bauch Campos thinks about everything to ensure the best performance of its equipment and other options. Below are some essential tips in order to ensure good labeling:
Good labeling depends mostly on three factors: packaging, equipment (machine), and label. The combination among these factors, their variables, and the dynamics of labeling can ensure label application quality or result in defective labeling.
Labeling quality is considered good when it meets the requirements agreed and specified between the client and the equipment's manufacturer. Labeling defects are considered any wrinkling in the label applied, air pockets ("bubbles") between the label and the packaging, deviations beyond what is tolerated, and labels with edges not sticking to the package.
Packaging
The packaging receives the label over a certain surface which we call "APPLICATION PANEL". In order to ensure a good labeling process it is necessary that the application panel have a regular geometry exempt of depressions or resiliencies. Furthermore, it is important that the label's position precision depend directly on the uniformity of dimensions and packaging forms as these variables interfere in the reading done by the labeling sensor and consequently the label application.
Equipment (labeler)
During the labeling process, four devices (modules) of the equipment are critical in order to ensure labeling quality:
Label
The main variables of the label to be considered in order to ensure good labeling are as follows:
